Alchi chos-´khor

The monastic compound (chos-’khor) of Alchi accommodates some of the most fascinating Buddhist monuments in the Himalayas. It contains six temples as well as three painted gateway stupa (Kakani chörten, ka-ka-ni mchod-rten) of a type unique to the Alchi group.
