262/4-10/2000 Weratschnig Günter Gebaute Botschaft Der Neubau einer Wallfahrtskirche am Kurescek (833m), 20km südlich von Laibach ist das Thema dieser Arbeit. Ein Workshop an der Architekturfakultät von Laibach über das "Sakrale" in der Architektur, Beispiele traditioneller und zeitgenössischer Kirchenbauten Sloweniens, sowie Arbeiten Joze Plecniks (1872-1957), bilden die Einleitung. Die im 2.Weltkrieg zerstörte Kirche auf dem Kurescek wurde 1992 wiedererrichtet, nachdem France Spelic dort Botschaften von Maria empfangen hatte. Aus diesen Erscheinungen geht auch der Wunsch zum Bau einer großen Kirche hervor. Die Theorie des Entwurfes befasst sich mit Lourdes, dem Wallfahrtswesen allgemein, mit den speziellen Anforderungen an eine Wallfahrtskirche und mit der Liturgiereform des II.Vatikanischen Konzils. Der Entwurf nimmt Bezug auf die Botschaften; "Mit dem Neubau wird die Kirche wachsen und sich geistig bereichern". Das Gebäude "wächst" aus der Erde, löst sich vom Boden und vermittelt den Eindruck über der Erde zu schweben. Zentrales Element und Symbol ist das Dachtragwerk in Form einer Rose (Maria) ,die das zum Zentrum vertikal aufbäumende Dach durchbricht und trägt. Die Arbeit beinhaltet weiters die Gestaltung von: Altar, Ambo, Session, Bestuhlung, Taufkapelle, Beichtstuhl, Tabernakel, Außenaltar, Kreuzweg und Pilgerheim, unter Einbeziehung theoretischer Grundlagen. TO BUILD A MESSAGE The subject of this work is to build a new pilgrimage church at the Kurescek (833m), located 20km in the south of Ljubljana. The introduction deals with the workshop about "The sacred in architecture" at Ljubljana, following with examples about traditional and contemporary church buildings of Slovenia, including the work of Joze Plecnik (1872-1957). During the Second World War the church at the Kurescek was destoyed and rebuilded in the year 1992. The reason of this rebuilding were the messages from the Holy Mary to France Spelic. These messages also gave the order to build a new church at this place. Lourdes, the question what is a pilgrimage, the caracteristics of pilgrimage churches and the rules of the II.Vatican Council gives the basic informations. The Holy Mary said, that the whole church will grow with the building of a new church. According to this message, the sketch grows out of the earth and seems to suspend over the bottom. The construction of the roof has the shape of a rose (symbol for Mary), and it breakes through the roof cover, representing the growing of this building, as the main idea. Finaly the work also includes the sketch of: altar table, ambon, seat for the priest, seats, tabernacle, baptistery, outside altar, cross way and a pilgrimage hall.
