						The temples of Tholing
						Tholing and Tsaparang are situated in the West of today's Tibet. Tholing was founded 996 by Yeshe-Ö the king of Guge and represented several centuries the centre of Buddhism of the kingdom of Guge. In the 15th century the royal residence was trensferred to Tsaparang which is in 25km distance from Tholing.
